The average age for a woman to enter into menopause is 45-55 years. Our synergistic blend contains:
Calcium and Vitamin D to help reduce the loss of bone mineral in post-menopausal women. 
Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteoporotic bone fractures. A beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 1200 mg of calcium and 20μg of vitamin D from all sources.
 
Vitamin B6 which helps contribute to the regulation of hormonal activity, normal functioning of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Zinc & Magnesium that contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
 
Plus harmonising botanicals that mimic oestrogen in the body - studies have shown that oestrogen decreases during and post menopause and lack of oestrogen can increase the risk of osteoporosis and heart disease. Oestrogen deprivation has been found to be the main contributor to osteoporosis in menopausal women so it is important to supplement with natural sources where possible during and post menopause.
 
BOTANICALS THAT WORK IN HARMONY WITH YOUR BODY
Soy - soybeans are rich in isoflavones which is a type of plant-based chemical with oestrogen-like effects. Isoflavones attach to cells in the body in the same way as oestrogen does, meaning they may mimic oestrogen and, therefore, have a hormone-balancing effect
Alfalfa, Flaxseed and Hops all phytoestrogens are added to the mix- phytoestrogens can cause some of the same effects in the body as oestrogen
Flaxseed also contains ALA ( alpha-linolenic acid) which studies suggest may support bone health as we age.
Sage - helps to balance hormones naturally
Panax Ginseng - has hormonal effects similar to those of oestrogen
Kelp - contains iodine which also helps to balance thyroid hormones and oestrogen levels in the body.
